Where I Stand On The
Issues

Go Where It Matters
Creating lasting change doesn’t just mean winning the big elections we see on TV. It also means focusing on local races that are often overlooked and under-funded but hold a greater impact on our daily lives.
Our support can truly make a difference in elections that will decide housing developments, school districts, zoning decisions, and public safety. Winning here will prove to millions that Democrats can deliver on the issues that matter most.

Empower The Best People
How many smart, capable leaders have avoided politics altogether because they don’t want to beholden to special interest groups and dark-money donors? The answer: too many.
But that’s where we come in. We’re building the infrastructure and making the connections so the best people can run for office. And with our grassroots war chest, we’ll ensure they won’t be controlled by the mega-rich or corporate Super PACs.

Reach The Next Generation
The next big election will be decided by millions of young people who are currently un-registered, politically homeless, or slowly drifting towards Donald Trump’s MAGA brand. If we don’t act now, we could lose them for good.
We need to meet them where they are. That means launching digital ads and text campaigns, but also engaging with them face-to-face on college campuses and at concerts, tailgates, and sporting events. Whether it’s through voter registration drives, paid canvasses, or viral ads — we must insert ourselves into the conversation and take back our brand as a party they can trust. -
Reconnect With Real America
The Blue Wall up North crumbled when Democrats strayed too far from their roots. Party leadership became obsessed with Silicon Valley and coastal country-club types. We need to focus on the issues affecting real people today.
Affordability
Rent is too high and the cost of buying a home is out of control. Yet, it’s nearly impossible to build new houses to address the problem. We need practical solutions to bring costs down — and that goes for groceries, gas, and healthcare, too.
Commonsense Reform
Guardrails and regulations are important to protect the public, but it often feels like too many guardrails have stuck in a box. We need to remove unnecessary regulations that prevent job-creating growth, pass sensible restrictions that keep our communications safe, and cut wasteful spending that essentially flushes our tax-dollars down the drain.
Strengthening Democracy
The South is full of hallowed ground made sacred by those who paid the highest price for freedom, dignity, and the right to vote. Yet, those in power today are making it harder to vote, attacking the free press on which democracy is built, and spreading conspiracies designed to divide us. We need leaders who believe voting should be easy and secure, that our judicial system and our press must be free from political pressure, and that our democratic institutions must be strengthened.
